Our Mission
"To love our neighbors by providing programs for youth and addressing community needs, always mindful of the poorest among us who are often overlooked."
In this mission we live out our Core Values
1. We value being a good neighbor, serving others and reaching out to the poor and isolated sometimes hidden in our neighborhood.
2. We bring together people of diverse backgrounds and experience.
3. We maintain a visible presence in the neighborhood.
4. We learn from our experiences and welcome new ideas.
5. We seek to provide a safe haven for those who gather in our Center.
Our Vision
1. The Center is the heart of the neighborhood, attractive to people of all ages and backgrounds.
2. The Center is in full use and fully funded, appropriately staffed to support multiple programs and activities:
· It is a venue for education, providing an excellent after school program and a variety of other offerings for children and adults.
· It is a venue for culture, connecting the neighborhood with the performing and visual arts.
· It is a gathering place, providing meeting space for community groups as well as social opportunities for children and adults.
· It connects people with needed services and support.
3. The Center encourages volunteerism among the parish, the day school, Lanier and the community, offering training and opportunities.
